Born several years after his father Lt. Dale D. Eddy sustained injuries in Vietnam, Scott Eddy a web designer hopes he’s created a digital memorial for his father and all things YP-3 & YP-13. Taking a closer look at what exactly happen before and after Larry Burrow’s camera lifted-off from the LZ. The gun battle that ensued the rescue and details that LIFE Magazine maybe missed. Scott, along with family would talk and interview Dale many times, collecting material. All to celebrate those U.S. Marines that protected and rescued Dale. Our hope is My Yankee Papa will continue to evolve so please visit again.
